We are currently seeking a Permit Manager to join our dynamic team. This role provides direction for work involving considerable customer contact for a major Telecommunications Infrastructure Project.  Job Summary The Permit Manager supports the Sr. Director of Construction and is ultimately responsible for coordinating, processing, and acquiring all permits required to facilitate the expansion of the telecommunications network. This will typically involve providing instruction to additional coworkers to complete tasks and a strong attention to reporting metrics and delivery of constructible permits to our team is required. The employee will be well trained in the telecommunications and/or utility infrastructure industry and be able to utilize practical production knowledge which is critical to ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of deliverables to the regulatory agencies and back to the field for utilization. A strong candidate will be well-versed in local permitting protocols, requirements and procedures and will be the link between engineering, design, construction and the PMO. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Identify and help create reporting tools to communicate current operations to peers; - Drive the permit submittals and receipts within standard durations; - Create a performance driven environment that has fun delivering on promises; - Ability to communicate well cross functionally with Engineer and Construction leadership; - Review, coordinate, process and verify compliance with rules, regulations and legal requirements applicable with permits required from approving agencies for water and wastewater infrastructure projects;  - Relay all applicable jurisdictional requirements to the Design/Drafting Manager to support the department’s ability to complete plan sets accurately and efficiently; - Prepare timeline schedules for obtaining approved permits from agencies and distribute to project managers and engineers for reporting purposes; - Research and obtain required permit data such as plans, quantities, statements, etc. which also requires the building of relationships and coordination with local jurisdictional representatives; - Confer with the Design Manager, project managers and engineers to ensure accuracy of project data; - Review permitting documentation prepared by the Permit Specialist and Design Department to ensure accurate and complete packages are submitted - Communicate with permit approving agencies as required to confirm timelines and proper procedures and documentation are met; - Participate in weekly calls to report on permitting activities, challenges and roadblocks, providing information on how all issues are being addressed and the time frame for resolution. - Track all documents associated with the permit process from initial review through final permit approval to ensure timelines/schedules are met and to provide timely follow-up as required; - Manage all documents associated with the project permit process from initial review through final permit approval;   REQUIREMENTS - High School diploma; - 5 + years’ experience coordinating, processing, and acquiring required permits from approving agencies for Telecommunications infrastructure projects; - Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specs and related documents; - Working knowledge of engineering practices, designs, and standards pertaining to infrastructure projects; - Working knowledge of permit approving agencies policies and procedures for the permit approval process for water and wastewater infrastructure projects; - Ability to utilize external database systems to research and obtain required permit data and submit permit applications to approving agencies; - Experience using software applications such as Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook; - Ability to deal tactfully and communicate effectively, verbally or in writing, with project managers, engineers and permit approving agency officials to discuss or resolve permit related problems; - Ability to multi-task with ease and properly address competing priorities, taking the initiative to organize data and information as necessary for later use. PREFERENCES - MasTec prefers, but does not require, that candidates have experience in the local area; - Prior work associated with the cable, wireless, cellular, or other utility infrastructure industries. #LI-DR1

Moves material within the Distribution Center and from the loading platform by carrying, pushing, rolling or operating hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, motorized conveyors, or other material handling equipment. Installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit, by using appropriate hand tools. Ensures proper materials are loaded using pallets, trays, racks, and shelves when needed. Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designed area using hand truck, electric dolly, wheel barrow, or other devices.  May occasionally operate industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products. Ensures all identifying tags or labels are properly attached to materials or all identifying marks are properly used to identify information on cases, bales, or other containers. Will properly maintain records as required by management in the appropriate warehouse information system.   Required Skills - Receives incoming inventory & Supply items, logs into company warehouse system, and stocks inventory in the proper location -  Read work orders, shipping order, or follows verbal instructions - Fills customer invoices. Checks part numbers, cleans and packs inventory items. - Inspects inventory for defects, scratches or other damage. - Notifies Warehouse Manager of problems.  -  Follows all company safety and accident procedures while on company premises or operating company vehicles or equipment. - Tracks all inventory in appropriate system. - Organizes and cleans warehouse space and company equipment as needed. - Reports any customer problems or concerns immediately. - Coaches fellow associates on warehouse operational practices and procedures, equipment operation, and safety procedures when needed. - Enforces policies and procedures to ensure efficient, effective, and safe warehouse operations. - Evaluates current processes and procedures and recommends changes to warehouse management. - Contributes ideas on ways to reduce warehouse cost per unit and increase productivity. - Maintains working knowledge of warehouse data system and performs various tasks within the system. - When requested delivers supplies and equipment in a timely fashion, while observing all Regulated DOT and OSHA standards.

As a Coax Splicer, you will be a part of a team of construction professionals who produce high quality work while using specialized skills in splicing, activations, testing, troubleshooting and more to make a difference. MasTec is a leading national infrastructure construction company operating throughout the United States.   Duties & Responsibilities • Repair or splice in new lines as needed to complete the testing • Place and install required coax cable when necessary • Install all passive devices and coax splice cases required to house CATV equipment per customer requirements • Troubleshooting and repair of existing Coax lines an line equipment • Read and understand site plans, maps and diagrams needed to support the project • Splicer overhead and underground coaxial cables   Skills & Qualifications • 1+ year of telecommunication construction experience preferred • 1+ year of experience in splicing, balancing and documenting CATV systems • Ability to climb poles, ladders, and use bucket trucks as needed • Ability to travel and work on call including evenings and weekends as needed • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions • Ability to work and climb up to 35 feet • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word) • Valid driver’s license required
