Job Summary

Operates heavy & light construction equipment, including backhoes, cable plow, Mini-Ex, Horizontal Directional Drill (HDD) & other types of machinery & assures maintenance of these as required.

• Operate excavation and other construction equipment
• Load and transport materials and equipment to jobsites
• Assist in setting up the jobsite safely
• Fill in as a laborer as needed
• Other duties as assigned

• 1+ years of experience in underground construction preferred
• 6 mo. to 1 year of experience operating excavation equipment preferred
• Ability to recognize hand signals and directions from locator or operator
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license required; Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) strongly preferred
