The Network Engineer 3 will provide OSS health check and troubleshooting support to tower crews and field engineers with the purpose to complete LTE-A and 5G NR technology and carrier add projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Script RETs and SQUIDs
  
• Perform 4G eNB RBS reconfigurations using the Base Station Integration Manager (BSIM), Bulk Configuration Management (BCM), and Auto Integration Function (AIF) OSS tools
  
• Prepare integration scripts using the BSIM application & Customer Collection requirement (CCR) tool
  
• Assist Field personnel with integration process and tower crews with alarms checks and resolution
  
• Assist with other duties as assigned
  
• Utilize RF Data Sheets and Radio Network Design Questionnaires and content within
  

Skills and Experience:

• Experience with 6648/6630/5216/DUS architecture and eNB managed object structure via ENM to complete technology and LTE carrier additions required
  
• Familiarity with RBS Element Manager for On-site Integration activity required
  
• Knowledge of License Key Feature (LKF) activation & Software upgrade procedures required
  
• Familiarity with Alarm Handling & Fault Management
  
• Ability to write Method of Procedures and Job Aides
  
• Good understanding of Ericsson WRAN interfaces, network topology, CPP Platform
  
• Good understanding of protocols such as S1, X2, S11, S5, S8, Gi, Gn and Uu interfaces
  
• 4-6 yrs. of Industry experience in similar role
